Archie
Archie is set in the fictional small town of Riverdale. In the series, Archie and his friends are the main characters, out of which Archie is the protagonist. It is a funny and romantic comic, Archie's friends Betty and Veronica want to date him and it then becomes something like a love triangle.
The comic is about a High school friends, and explains the structure of American High school in a fun way to you. In the comic, you'll see what American teenagers do in their high school days. Fables
It is an American comic book series created and written by Bill Willingham. The comic is based on a murder mystery and is a conspiracy thriller.
The main characters of Fables are public domain figures from folklore, mythology and literature. Fables formed a community centuries ago within New York city known as Fabletown, after their homelands have conquered by a mysterious and deadly enemy, known as " the adversary ". And the story revolves around it. Fables was a successful comic series and won many awards like Eisner Awards, and was nominated for best Graphic story, Hugo Award.
So its a must try and is one of the best English comic books.
Planetary
Planetary is an american comic book written and created by Warren Ellis and John Cassaday. Planetary organization intent on discovering world's secret history. The team travels the world investigating strange phenomena like monsters, superhumans and Aliens. The series is about their adventures and experiences in their tour. Blankets
Blankets is an autobiographical novel, written by Craig Thompson. It tells the childhood life of Craig Thompson, his first love and his early adulthood. Criag is the protagonist of the story, the story begins with Craig describing his relationship with his brother, Wisconsin, he then discusses about his first love, child and adult sexuality, spirituality.
It is one of the best English comic books and has won many awards.
A Contract with God
It is written by an American Cartoonist Will Eisner. The story is based on a Hasidic Jew, Frimme Hersh. There are total four stories in the book, " A contract with god ", " The street singer ", " The super " and " Cookalein ". The stories are linked with frustration,violence, disillusionment and issues of ethnic identity.
A contract with god, is the story of a deeply religious Hesidic Jew, Frimme Hersh. Hersh carves a contract with god to live a life full of good deeds, he moves to new York and adopts an infant girl, who was abandoned on his doorstep. he was living a simple and happy life, but after some time the girl dies of sudden illness. And Hersh gets frustrated and accuses god for violating their contract, he abandons his faith, cuts his hair and starts living a different lifestyle. But he is not satisfied with his life and after some time he feels that he needs to make a new contract with god. He writes the contract but as soon as he returns home, he dies. And after his death, another boy Shloime finds his contract and signs his name to it. The book has three more stories in it : "the street singer", "the super", "cookalein".

A Contract with god is one of the best comics i have ever read and i will ever read. I must say that i really enjoy watching videos but still the most entertaining think after a video is reading comics. I really enjoy reading comics and i would suggest "Contract with god" to every one.
